CR Museum is going Digital

Summer 2020 Digital Programming!

This summer the Museum Programs are going Digital!

Each week this summer will have themed digital programming that’s fun for the whole family!  As we cannot safely gather in groups at the Museum this summer, we are planning to bring the Museum to you!

With weekly themes throughout the summer to explore our local history from your home, out in the community, and special weekly scavenger hunts to explore the Museum’s galleries with a different focus.  Don’t forget the Museum is free for Locals on Wednesdays!

Each week will include fun videos featuring puppet theatre performances (every Tuesday and Thursday at 11am), craft tutorials, and even some interviews with local experts.

Wilderness Wednesdays will encourage you to get out to explore our local history and natural heritage spread throughout the community with fun scavenger hunts and other suggested activities!

Feature Fridays will “feature” filmed interviews, craft tutorials, gallery tours, and local history documentaries to watch for free from home!  Content can be found on our website, our You Tube Channel, and on our Facebook Pages!

Our Weekly Themes will be:

July 6-10: Native Plants

Discover the natural world around us, and how many of these plants have been used through time.
