$30

UKULELE WORKSHOPS LEAD BY LIZ DEBARROS
All workshops are 75-90 minutes in length and cost $30
All workshops are for “Confident Beginner” to “Intermediate” plus
and are being held at Ground Zero Acoustic Lounge
Located at #8-464 Island Highway East, Parksville B.C
Confident Beginner
This player knows a handful of chords and can move from one chord to another without pausing. Has developed a strum or two.
Intermediate
At this level, you can hold a steady rhythm and can play a variety of basic chords (for example: A, Am, B7, C, C7, D, Dm, E, Em, G, and G7).
If you have any questions about the workshops or lessons, fill out the contact form below.

This workshop will show you how chords are made and explain the mystery of chord progressions. We will look at all the Major chords and why there are many variations within each chord. We will also look at some minor chords and how they fit in to a chord progression. We’ll also look at chord “inversions” (don’t worry, it’s not that technical) and see how you can make chords up and down the neck.
