Champion and Amateur Shuckers from around the world go tete-a-tete for the title of top Tofino Shucker & cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Watch the showdown while learning pearls of wisdom from our Champion Shuckers. New to shucking? No problem — there’s a first-of-its-kind competition for our Amateur Shuckers too. This brawl of the bivalves closes out the Festival, making it the Sunday Funday event you won’t want to miss.
This year’s oyster fest will be hosted in the heart of Tofino at The Tofino Community Hall. With amazing sound and large dance floor, get lost in the evening’s events while sipping on champagne and slurping down the most delicious oysters the coast has to offer! Nothing quite compares to the feeling of community that Tofino has to offer.
The Tofino Oyster Festival is the reincarnation of the extremely popular Clayoquot Oyster Festival that began in 1997 and ran for over 20 years.
