Stories on Friday: Hidden History

Do you like being told stories? ‘Stories on Friday’ is an evening of live storytelling in the oral tradition.

Join us on Friday, April 12th at 7:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Hall when our theme will be ‘Hidden History’. On our stage our host, Lee Porteous, will welcome storytellers Ange Frymire, Marsha Flad and Rotary exchange student storytellers Fonda Petchpaitoon from Thailand and Antosia Ras from Poland. Sit back, relax and listen.

Come early for the best seats! Event starts at 7:30 p.m. Doors at 7:00 p.m. Admission is $10.00. Concession by donation.

Around Town Tellers of Nanaimo host ‘Stories on Friday’ the second Friday of every month at 595 Townsite Road (in the Unitarian Hall) from September through June.
