Sidney’s Got Soul

Feb 21 at 7:00pm

$30.00

Sidney’s Got Soul is a returning concert featuring Checo Tohomaso and the 50-voice Sweet Soul Choir. It was a sell out in 2019 and it promises to be a repeat in 2020

Checo is a truly dynamic entertainer having performed all over the world in the bands of Marvin Gaye and Lionel Ritchie and the Commodores. He leads this exciting group. His rendition of Sam Cooke’s ‘A Change is Gonna Come’ is a moving testament to the times.

The Sweet Soul Choir brings audiences to their feet with their Motown-styled renditions of songs such as ‘Stand by Me’, and ‘Sitting on the Dock of the Bay’ and many other great ‘Snap your finger tunes’ from the soundtrack of our lives.

It’s the R&B, Gospel, Soul of Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett performed with choreography and 5-part harmonies.

A Choir concert is a Spirit-lifting event…guaranteed to put a smile on your face

Visit ‘Sweetsoulchoir.ca’ for more information.

We also proudly welcome The Bankes Brothers and Alexis Van Den Bulk who will be opening the evening’s entertainment. These talented and well-known artists are graduates of Parklands.

The concert is in support of Parklands Music Programs.
