Regreening the Earth, a Nanaimo Greenfaith EARTH DAY EVENT

We invite people of all Faith Traditions to gather at the Upper Picnic Shelter at Bowen Park on Saturday, April 23 a 1:00 p.m. to replant an area designated by the City of Nanaimo with Native plants.
Plants may be pre-ordered ($10 for 1 large or 2 small plants) through the following link;

Plants will be selected and delivered by Nanaimo Area Land Trust and can be picked up by purchasers at the park.
Representatives of various faith traditions will speak very briefly about how their faith tradition honours the Earth, following which members of that faith will present their plants and place them on the steps. Then we will all gather for a photo shoot and together we will do the planting.
