Meditation for a Peaceful Heart – Public Talk in Colwood

The key to a happy life is learning to reside in a peaceful heart. This is something we can all learn to do. Learning to develop a peaceful mind and abiding there is the very essence of Buddhist meditation. In this introductory talk, Kadampa Buddhist Teacher Sachi Tamura will share practical advice and meditation on how to develop and maintain a peaceful, light, flexible mind in our daily life.
During this 1.5 hour public talk, learn how to practice meditation techniques and how meditation can reduce stress and benefit your life. No experience necessary. Everyone welcome. Time provided for questions.
Sachi Tamura is a member of the Teacher Training Program at KMC Victoria and teaches weekly at the Esquimalt Recreation Centre. Sachi’s background includes experience in human services, community music, and death midwifery.
