K’ÓMOKS FESTIVAL 2023

We will be coming together on June 21st to celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day.
​The day begins with a Welcoming Ceremony with Hereditary Chiefs, Elected Officials, Staff & Delegates from the K’ómoks First Nation. We will celebrate together through art, music, dance, workshops, storytelling, and delicious food.
Those in attendance will be honoured with entry into the sacred space of the carving shed to witness Master Carver, Community Leader & Knowledge Keeper—Tommy Hunt Jr., who holds the name Waławidi—work on the Andy Frank Memorial Pole.
K’ómoks Festival 2023 will be held 9AM – 6PM at the Puntledge RV Campground in the Middle Field (follow the signs) at 4624 Condensory Road, Courtenay, British Columbia, Canada, V9J 1R6
This is a Free Family-Friendly Event. Free Parking, Washrooms, Good Vendors, Kids Zone, Drumming, Dancing, Storytelling, Carving & Entertainment. Fun for the whole community.
