Intersections: Life on Island Time
Mar 1 at 10:00am - 4:30pm
An event every day that begins at 10:00am, repeating until March 15
Island living means living with nature at our doorstep.
Whether we are walking the miles of coastal shoreline, hiking through coastal rainforest, working in our gardens or doing errands in town, our lives intersect with the natural world every day. It’s a relationship defined by wonder, joy and unexpected surprise, as well as respect, responsibility and reverence.
In this beautiful exhibition, three local artists describe, through works in acrylic, watercolour, pastel and oil, the many facets of this special relationship. Interesting things happen at the intersection of our human daily life and the natural world around us.
