All activities at the June 3rd open house are by donation to Gardens without Borders—a federally registered not-for-profit organization based at Innisfree that provides healing opportunities through plants and gardening (Horticulture Therapy).
The themed gardens, which are open to the public in the summer, include a native plants garden, herbs used in Chinese medicine, and an apothecary garden with plants used in clinical herbal medicine—with each plant labeled with its common, Latin, and family name. In the summer there is even a café and outdoor patio offering light lunches and home baking.
The Green Dream Café, farm shop, and botanic garden will be open for the 2023 season on Fridays and Saturdays 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Sundays 12 p.m. – 4 p.m., from Friday June 23rd – Sunday, September 17th 2023. Plants will also be available for purchase during these hours while supplies last.
