Hermann’s Upstairs presents Canadian Beauty: A Tribute to the Grateful Dead

Canadian Beauty has been performing Grateful Dead tribute shows since 2005. This group of skilled improvisers which include Lucky Budd on guitar and vocals, Chris Van Sickle on piano, organ, and vocals, Marc Jenkins on guitar and vocals, Esme John on bass and vocals, and Damian Graham on drums have always chosen to focus on the Dead’s ethos rather than note-for-note readings. Expect plenty of improvisation, folky roots-country, and plenty of harmony with a focus on the Dead’s late 60s through mid-70s repertoire.
