With an instrumental background in guitar and bass starting when he was 11-years-old, Bukkha, whose real name is Evert Cristoff, was raised on the sounds ranging from Pole to Luke Vibert to Scientist to Billie Holliday, which has molded the uniquely versatile compositional style we hear from him today. Having dropped releases with a number of notable imprints including Moonshine, Dub-Stuy, System Music, Infernal Sounds, and War, along with a number of forthcoming releases on some very reputable reggae/dub labels, Bukkha has also remixed tunes for Radikal Guru, Tuff and Powa, Danny Scrilla, Jojo Mac and more.
