Halloween Parade and Party

Get on your broomstick and follow the witches and black cats to the annual Courtenay Halloween Parade and Party on Tuesday, October 31st put on by Courtenay Recreation in partnership with the Downtown Courtenay Business Improvement Association (DCBIA).
This free event is at the Lewis Centre and in Downtown Courtenay from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and is full of family fun!
Start in Downtown Courtenay with a Trick or Treat Parade at downtown businesses on 4th, 5th and 6th streets and then make your way to the Lewis Centre for the party.
The party at the Lewis Centre (489 Old Island Highway) will feature Witches Brew Café with a FREE Cauldron brewed beverage, family photos, carnival games & treats.
Spooky fun is also to be had at The LINC Youth Centre’s Haunted House (300 Old Island Highway). From 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., bring little ones and easily-frightened adults and enjoy half the fright night. Admission is $2/person or $5/family.
Drivers, please be patient and alert while hundreds of small costumed characters walk around Downtown Courtenay.
