Festival of Trees
December 26 at 10:00am - 5:00pm
An event every week that begins at 10:00am on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, repeating until December 31

The Festival of Trees is now open at the Museum at Campbell River. The outpouring of support from the community has resulted in twenty nine trees being sponsored by different businesses and organizations. The annual event is an important fundraiser for the Museum.
Voting has taken place to identify the most elegant, the most whimsical, and the most creative decorations. The winner of the most elegant tree is Relish Interiors with their tree “Champagne Castle”. The winner of the most whimsical tree is Avenue for the Home and United Floors with “Santa’s Little Helpers”. The most creative tree went to Hi-Limit Plumbing & Heating and Nika Plumbing Ltd. for their tree “Nightmare Before Christmas.” The Museum would like to congratulate the winners and thank them and the other tree decoratos and sponsors for putting so much thought and effort into their contributions to this year’s Festival of Trees.
There is still one more award to be given, and that is the People’s Choice Award. From now until Saturday December 18 everyone is invited to come and vote for their favourite.
The Festival of Trees is open Tuesday-Sunday in December from 10-5 (excluding Christmas Day and Boxing Day) and admission to see the festival is free. The Museum is located at 470 Island Highway, at 5th Avenue. For more information go to www.crmuseum.ca or call 250-287-3103.
