Dana Beatson will be the guest speaker at the Comox Valley Horticultural Society meeting on April 17. Dana’s presentation will cover the laws and bylaws which govern our private and community gardens as well as the importance of food security.
Originally from Vancouver, Dana is now a local resident in the valley. She’s a Registered Professional Planner with over 15 years’ experience in land development. Dana has had the opportunity to work in various communities during her career from the Cowichan Valley to the Comox Valley. Dana completed her Master Degree in Community and Regional Planning at the University of British Columbia in 2004.

How do I register for Zoom? Advanced registration for Zoom is required for both members and non-members. Current members will receive a separate Zoom invitation. Registration for non-members ($5.50) is very simple – visit our website at www.comoxvalleyhortsociety.ca by 5:00pm on Friday, April 14th, as it requires two days to process. CVHS 2023 memberships are now available to purchase from our website or download a registration form and mail it in!
