Lively, gentle, fun beginner Clog Dance/Step Dance classes will be taught in socially distant lines and the steps will be reviewed each Wednesday before new steps are taught.
A partner is fun to have but is not necessary. There will be no hand holdin’ and huggin’ while we all stay safe!
Jingle taps can be glued easily to flat heeled street shoes (not sticky runners with grip) and jingle taps will be available from the instructor each class. It is optional but not necessary to purchase the standard, somewhat expensive, white clog dance shoes. A few participants do prefer to go that route each fall.
Music for each taste such as Celtic, Country, Swing, Broadway and Canadian.
Please bring a mask, a water bottle, five dollars cash and a smile to Qualicum Beach Community Hall each Wednesday. Car pools might be arranged from Nanaimo, Lantzville and Nanoose.
