Crows Nest Gallery

The Crow’s Nest Gallery and Studio is a new creative space in Campbell River, BC used for art parties and classes, studio rentals, and a gallery show casing work by local artists and crafters.

We offer workshops and birthday parties for children in a variety of mediums and customizable options! For adults we have a variety of wine and art parties for any celebration as well as fine art workshops and studio rentals! Artists can use the studio to teach their own workshops for a rental fee, or  to come and paint on their own for a drop in fee.

Supporting local is very important to The Crow’s Nest! So we are proud to say all art and handmade goodies in the gallery are completely locally sourced!

Come and visit ! We are looking forward to getting creative with you!

CR Art Gallery

The Campbell River Art Gallery acknowledges that it is located on the unceded traditional territory of the Ligwiłda’xw people; the We Wai Kai, Wei Wai Kum, and Kwiakah First Nations, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day. We opened in 1994 and remain Campbell River’s sole public gallery, serving the surrounding regional districts and islands. We exhibit contemporary art by professional artists in our Main Gallery and Satellite Gallery.

Our annual exhibition program is at the core of all the activity at the Gallery, directing workshop themes, lectures, school tours and community outreach.

We acknowledge and are grateful for the financial support of the Canada Council for the Arts, the Province of British Columbia, the British Columbia Arts Council, the City of Campbell River, as well as to the many members and donors whose contributions make our work possible.

Lower Myra Falls

Waterfall Chasing

Its raining the kids are under foot; jump in the car and head onto Hwy 28, with the first stop being Elk Falls, continue along Hwy 28 towards Gold River, and you will find 75 waterfalls that you can see, stand under and be totally amazed.  After about 10 days of rain you can be sure to run into all 75 waterfalls, some small some large.  The bigger falls such as Elk and Myra are tucked away, but there are lots of places to pull into and take a short hike to see them.
