The Campbell River Art Gallery acknowledges that it is located on the unceded traditional territory of the Ligwiłda’xw people; the We Wai Kai, Wei Wai Kum, and Kwiakah First Nations, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day. We opened in 1994 and remain Campbell River’s sole public gallery, serving the surrounding regional districts and islands. We exhibit contemporary art by professional artists in our Main Gallery and Satellite Gallery.
Our annual exhibition program is at the core of all the activity at the Gallery, directing workshop themes, lectures, school tours and community outreach.
We acknowledge and are grateful for the financial support of the Canada Council for the Arts, the Province of British Columbia, the British Columbia Arts Council, the City of Campbell River, as well as to the many members and donors whose contributions make our work possible.

Hot Springs Cove is a truly special place. After a short & scenic flight Air Nootka will drop you off at the Maquinna Marine Park Wharf. This is the start of the magical 30-45 minute walk along a well maintained boardwalk through the old growth forest to the hot springs themselves. Once there you can spend the day soaking in the natural rock pools which vary from very hot at the top where the water comes out in a small waterfall to comfortably warm nearer to the ocean. There are shelters, a changing area, and outdoor toilets for your convenience.
Water sandals are highly recommended as the rocks in and around the pools are quite slippery.
